Unfortunately, our system still needs votes to win.
In the primaries, republicans vote.
(I am against open primaries where democrats can vote in republican primaries).

In picking the majority leader in the house, it is again those pesky voters (in this case ALL republican congress critters) who picked the winner. I don’t think Boehner & Romney & Cantor by themselves could have picked the winner. The Tea party candidate obviously did not get majority votes.

Soon we will have congressional elections.
Again, the pesky voters will pick winners.
GOPe lost in Virginia because of those doggone voters!

These voters are ubiquitous!

Precisely....the GOP has FAILED to live up to it's promises and principles, they have lost the public. They have allowed the government Leviathan to roll on down the hill, eating up its citizens.

Hmmm, now that you mention it, the voters do seem to be a factor in all of this, possibly even an important one. Are you saying that if conservatives could persuade more people to see things our way, we might be able to get more of our guys elected and into positions of leadership? That the key to avoiding lesser-evil type choices between RINOs and RATs is to get more voters on our side?

I must admit it’s an interesting thought.
