The surface question is, “Do you now or have you ever affirmed traditional one man, one woman marriage.” Below the surface is the much more important question: What is man? Are males meant to be males and women to be women or are they meant to be androgynous as well?
If our foolish answer is ‘yes,’ thereby affirming gender confusion, then the god-men and goddesses waiting in the “closet” to come out openly in proclamation of their divinity will be next. Are we ready to bow down and worship them?
Timely post. As of tonight I’m really starting to believe that (I don’t know if you’re religious or not, if not sorry) all of this homosexual BS has something to do with the Mark of the Beast foretold in Revelation. Up until 5 or so years ago it would have been unthinkable to hear mayors of big cities ban business people from opening up a store in their city because they made a statement they were pro-traditional marriage and families. It’s not too hard to imagine that perhaps 15 years from now you’ll have to show solidarity in some manner with the homosexual movement in order to buy or sell.
Same-sex marriage is, of course, not the first issue to divide Americans. Slavery, segregation, and abortion led to civil war, vigilante violence, and massive protest movements. …To paraphrase Reagan, there they go again. Not a shred of shame among them with their false comparisons.
Curious how he doesn't believe the reverse applies.

If it comes to being forced to marry gays, then the churches can opt out of LEGAL marriage contracts. Tell your parishioners to go get the legal thing done in front of a Justice of the Peace, no fanfare, and then have a church wedding without the legal paperwork/consequences.

Obama Expands Family Leave Rights of Gay Couples

The Obama administration will work to ensure that gay and lesbian Americans are eligible to take leave from their jobs to care for a same-sex spouse, regardless of whether they live in a state that recognizes gay marriage, the White House said Friday.
President Barack Obama is directing the Labor Department to start drafting rules making clear that the Family and Medical Leave Act applies to same-sex couples, allowing gay and lesbian employees to take unpaid leave to care for a sick spouse regardless of where they live. The move comes three years after the Obama administration stopped defending the Defense of Marriage Act, which lets states refuse to recognize gay marriages performed in other states.
There will be blood and it’s not going to be pretty. I will continue to speak out against this abomination and I could care less how many people I offend. My master is God, no one else.
