I feel you, it would be a sad day, but honestly, if we had our own General Pinochet and he took over to clean this mess up, I couldn't oppose him.
I don't think we're there yet by any means, but if we keep going in this direction.....

Truth be told, I’d fight just as hard against a “right-wing” dicatorship as I would a left-wing one.

We’re Americans. We don’t “do” dictatorships... except in the WII sense of “doing” them - so they STAY “done”.
Not odd, since Fascism and Communism are merely two sides of the same coin.
