Posted on 06/24/2014 5:55:11 AM PDT by Oldeconomybuyer

Annual property losses from hurricanes and other coastal storms of $35 billion; a decline in crop yields of 14 percent, costing corn and wheat farmers tens of billions of dollars; heat wave-driven demand for electricity costing utility customers up to $12 billion per year.

Commissioned by a group chaired by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, former Secretary of the Treasury and Goldman Sachs alum Henry Paulson, and environmentalist and financier Tom Steyer, the analysis "is the most detailed ever of the potential economic effects of climate change on the U.S.," said climatologist Michael Oppenheimer of Princeton University.

We have to think of some kind of scam that requires the feral government to downsize in order to avert global environmental disaster.

Fight fire with fire.

Boo Chit.

If we didn’t live in hurricane zones we wouldn’t even have this discussion.

Just a way for big government fascists to control the population.
And enrich themselves.

If you ever see a report that is extreme in its detail, all a prediction of the future, it is an exotic fiction. Someone is in the wrong line of work and always really wanted to be a fantasy story writer when they got all growed up.

It’s really too bad our government isn’t spending anywhere near this amount of energy, on convincing people to buy American.

Just saying. :D

Tell you what.

Right now the parts per million of Carbon Dioxide is somewhere between 350-390ppm.

Lets agree to cut that in half....

problem solved. ..

These are among the economic costs that climate change is expected to exact in the United States over the next 25 years, ...

...is the most detailed ever of the potential economic effects of climate change on the U.S ...

As is the norm with the Global Warming - Climate Change Mafia, the use of "Weasel Words" in this report should be noted.

And an easy bet is that all of their conclusions were based on those "Computer Models" that have failed for umpteen years and the recent NOAA and NASA manipulation of the temperature records.

Quick, please tell me is it going to be warmer in the future or colder in the future? I need to prepare. Should I invest in parkas or suntan oil?

U.S. to face multibillion-dollar bill from climate change: report

FINALLY!!!! I agree with my FIRST Reuters headline!

The scam known (this week) as Climate Change, with all the cap-and-trade risky schemes, WILL cost the US multi-billions!

How nice of them to, at long last, admit it!

... the potential economic effects of climate change on the U.S.

How much of the quoted $35B is from increased population in the affected areas? Is that storm potential due to 'climate catastrophism' or is it due to long term natural cycles? Is this climate change signicficantly different from prior historical changes like the warming in the 900-1300 North Atlantic era? A time when French wine producers complained about English competition?

Yet another reason why I think this is a secular religion!

One of the perennial criticisms the Global Warming/Climate Change Advocates use against any scientist who dares call global warming a fraud or even says the evidence just isn’t there is to say they are paid industry spokesman.

Basically, they say they’re lying for money.

So what are these people doing, paid by Bloomberg, et al, and coming up with this detailed report?

Remember those kids too dumb to even think of anything other than picking their nose?

They are writing glow-bull warming stories now.

And they still can not pass a high school algebra class...and think physics is a gym class.

why cut it in half?

plants, the green living kind, need CO2 to live.

plants, the energy producing kind, aren’t contributing to that much of the total...

volcanoes and wild animals contributing a great amount.
