Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) said Tuesday that IRS Commissioner John Koskinen has done a terrible job communicating in the investigation into former IRS official Lois Lerners missing emails.
Obviously, I think he is doing a terrible job communicating, and obviously, they made huge mistakes as far as how theyve retained records and whether or not theyve been upfront and whether or not those records were available, McCaskill said on MSNBCs Morning Joe.
This guy did a terrible job being arrogant yesterday. We all think of the IRS as being arrogant, and he kind of confirmed that, she added about his performance at a hearing Monday evening before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

When Claire McCaskill burns you with a “quickened fireball” after you fail your saving throw, you KNOW there is trouble.
Deliberate destruction of government records is a crime. Not being aware of a situation he certainly should have been aware of is inexcusable incompetence. But speaking with such arrogance to elected officials by a cheap highly placed political hack who is no more than the biggest bureaucrat in the IRS is simply unforgivable.
If he speaks that way to them, you can imagine what this pompous arrogant ass thinks of us. His salary should be cut from the IRS budget to force a replacement.
He needs to be arrested ... but hey who am I kidding.
He learned from the best (worst) - Obama.
Terrible job communicating?
That’s the Obama default excuse. ‘I’m right but you’re too dense to get it.’
I understood the IRS commissioner completely. I just don’t believe a word he says.
Big difference.
They must have figured out how silly they all look apologizing to the IRS for conducting congressional oversight.
Yeh Claire -- there are better ways of "being arrogant" than this so obvious one.
“Koskinen needs to fired.”
Arrogant, and incompetent? He’s cut from the same cloth as Obama.
Is Claire’s”Seat”up for grabs? It SURE sounds like it??The ONLY”RATS”that asked Koskinen anything more controversial than whether he had been inconvenienced by last night’s hearing are those whose seats are”Questionable”???
Obama won't because he appointed Koskinen last summer for the express job of obstructing the investigation.
They recognize that the optics are HORRENDOUS!
6d4+1 damage
With the IRS, you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent. Anyone in the IRS is inherently an arrogant basta*d. They don’t know how to handle being interrogated.
ABOLISH the IRS now. Flat tax.
As a small business owner, too much time is required to protect ourselves against the US government and sleazy lawyers.
And all the other players look at the DM and go “Dag!”
Someone throws their dice.
It’s bad when spongebrain Claire is burning someone from her own party.
Makes me wonder just what else is being kept from the spotlight.
It must be worse if Claire is toasting this guy up.
Probably in hopes of keeping worse stuff from view?
The problem is that it would probably be deemed a federal crime. And we all know who's in charge of the federal prosecution team...
There are several IRS locations. My guess is that ALL 90,000 IRS employees emails are not stored on that one server. So we need the data backups from ALL exchange servers from that time period. Set up a lab with exchange and restore all of them . Then look for emails from LOIS.
You would have to believe that all copies of all data backup of every exchange server on the $2 billion per year system have been deleted. Somebody made a copy somewhere. Somebody put something on a usb drive (IF IRS allows them to work on their machines)
If the head of the IRS was Black, you wouldn’t hear a peep from any Democrat unless it was them pulling out the Race Card.
Does anyone remember Harold Raines from the Fannie / Freddie Hearings? The guy makes $90 Million Dollars running Fannie / Freddie into the ground and Maxine Waters was all a flutter, along with every Democrat in attendance.
And yes, good old Harold was 50% Blacker than Obama.
a terrible job communicating
Clair, what part of F U do you not understand?
