Does MS even allow write-ins? I don’t think I have heard of a write-in campaign there. TX and SC allow declared “write-in” candidates.
Most states have some kind of write-in law. You are correct that not all do. Ohio, like Texas, must be declared candidates to be COUNTED. There is no law against writing in anyone.
