To: Deathtomarxists

ISIS - there has to be more than coincidence to this acronym. It doesn’t mean anything to muzzies - but it does to those in western society. Perhaps the powers that be that are supporting ISIS, perhaps our own CIA, picked that name for a reason. What meanings does it have beyond the general?

Why wouldn’t it mean anything to the muslims...it is part of the history of middle east....Isis was the Goddess who married her brother Osiris. When he was murdered and his body cut to pieces and scattered about she brought his pieces back together to resurrect him (interesting side play on the penis portion for those who study mythology). The myth is similar to Ashtareth (and in fact may be the same tale) also known as Ishtar which in Egyot was Isis. Her son Nimrod plays an over arching role in the mythologies and history of the middle east.

I believe the name is purposeful....by what or whom is an entirely different question. Ishtar ( Isis) was certainly at odds with the one true God of heaven. She is rising again

Isis in Egyptian pagan mythology was the mother of Horus, their god of war..A non Mexican Santa Muerte..
