Senator Blackmon accepted the challenge and took the opportunity to address other concerns with her Republican opponent — concerns like where Blackmon stands on the abortion issue. Blackmon says Tuck has suggested the Democrat is pro-choice.

“I am a Christian, and I believe in the sanctity of life,” Blackmon said. “I would invite both cadidates to take an oath under penalties of perjury as to whether or not either candidate has had an abortion.”

Rush Limbaugh missed out on a bunch of elections too, until he was called on it. Who here would rather have Thad Cochran than Rush Limbaugh as his senator?

No one said that McDaniel is the Messiah, but to equate privately voting in a primary of the other party one time with orchestrating a campaign where you smear your own base to get get a critical mass of Democrat votes in the primary shows the same disingenuousness the Karl Rove types have for decades.

Tea Partiers in MS should attack the Cochran campaign relentlessly and vote against Cochran in November, or this will actually be added to the playbook. The NRSC should have smacked Barbour and the Cochran puppeteers down before the runoff once the strategy was made clear. Now it is necessary to show why.

Chris McDaniel voted Democrat in a primary... once…eleven years ago. Thad Cochran votes with democratic principles on every major issue. I think it’s a pretty clear choice who we need in that office.

LOL. Just noticed the original date and source of this “article”. The Cochran campaign reeks of desperation on every level. Maybe if they did some more begging for Democrat table scraps, they could conjure up a few more votes in the recount.

“So, Chris McDaniel Voted in the Democratic Primary in 2003; didn’t vote in an important Republican Primary,
and when liberal Democrat Senator John Kerry was running against President George W. Bush in 2004 he didn’t vote at all. “

The 2004 NOT voting makes McDaniel an EARLY T.E.A. party member

As for 2003 - It appears the McDaniel new more about Haley Barbor in 2003 then the rest of us

What is the purpose of this article?

McDaniel has always voted in a legal manner.

The issue at hand is the thousands and thousand of illegal votes cast in this runoff election.

So what? Maybe the Democrat was more conservative thatn the republican. Maybe McDaniel was a crossover voter in a primary, you know, like Barbour encouraged in the race, even though Barbour sued for closed primaries in the state of Mississippi.

Never ended up with fried ranch dressing after a zot before. Might have to try it on some buffalo wings this weekend.

Well, well, well...a BOGUS conservative poster (OldRanchHand) posts some old (November 2013) propaganda from a FAUX conservative website (a mislabled propaganda arm of the Mississippi RINOs) dedicated to destroying Chris McDaniel and other REAL CONSERVATIVES.

And this old garbage is posted in late June 2014 -— I wonder why?

I was a democrat once, and I have voted for both democrat and republican on the same ballot, just not the same office. There was a time when one could vote for a democrat and he/she was a great candidate for the office. I’d not vote at all if the republican was unfit for office at present. But I have not voted in every election, either. We could not get our ballots in time when we lived in Turkey and even the first few years in Germany.

Sometimes there are reasons for voting for the democrat. There was a time when I thought Haley Barbour was a great governor, based on articles written about him, but the more I listened to him, the more I began to see that he’s not such a great conservative. When one has a good conservative House and Senate, one gets credit for a lot more than one’s own ideas. Left alone to themselves, some of these politicians reveal too much about themselves and their persona starts coming apart.
