Dick Durbin: Obama to 'borrow' Constitutional power to rule on immigration
Examiner.com ^ | 06/28/14 | Joe Newby

Posted on 06/28/2014 4:18:51 PM PDT by LaybackLenny

If House Republicans do not act on immigration in the way Barack Obama wants soon, then the president will simply "borrow" Congress' legislative powers and unilaterally rule on the issue, bypassing Congress once again, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., said Thursday.

I guess that means the house can “borrow” constitutional power and have dear leader arrested?

Dick Durbin should be removed from office just for saying that without calling it for what it is - BLATANTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Obama has conspired to effect an invasion of the United States.

Every single one of these degenerate parasites should be deported the first order of business when the right takes power in 2017.

Militarize the border with Mexico, minefields, the whole works.

Put thousands of DC bureaucrats out of their do nothing jobs in Washington and have them patrol the border on foot.

This criminal Administration and it’s high officials must be pursued and prosecuted by the right when it gets control of the DOJ.

And instead of the next GOP POTUS “blaming Obama”, the right needs to indict Hussein Baraka and his minions.

While the custom of letting the crimes of past Administrations go unprosecuted has been the norm in the USA, these sons of degenerate whores are outside of that box,and merit prosecution with extreme prejudice.

Too bad whoever borrowed durbin’s brain about 30 years ago hasn’t returned it yet. Imagine his poor staff - trying to get this idiot through a day without hurting himself.

My gut tells me this will not end well for the Obamas.

Think Romania when a arrogant ruler defied the will of the people.

Why shouldn’t Obama borrow the power? The republicans will do nothing in response! I have no reason to believe they will take any action. They need to cut the federal budget and if the democrats want to shut the federal government down - so be it. As bad as that could be what he will do to the country if not stopped now will be far worse.

Howie Carr is right. The Democrats aren’t a party. They’ve become a cult.

These guys should be run out of town on a rial so fast they wouldn't know what hit 'em. This is what you get when politicians are unaccountable.

The fault for this ongoing shenanigans, power-grabs, and money grabs is the American People not holding them accountable.

Hey, Turban, Shakespeare said "Neither a BORROWER nor a lender be".

What does your Koran say on the subject, you snake with a forked tongue!

Hey, Dick. We as a free people consent to be governed, with limitations on that government; but we most strenuously object to and refuse to be RULED! Get it?

The House should impeach him and then borrow the Senate’s power to remove him from office.

.... People need to DEMAND an explanation of this sloppy statement from the Prez ....

..... So ..... Basically he has just told the world that he is going to Break the Constitution to force his personal idea of an Immigration Law down our throat and sign it into effect. Question: Wouldn't this so called "Law" be automatically nullified by lack of proper Constitutional protocol.

.... Also... By doing this act would he not be guilty of Dereliction of Duty, because the main tenet of his office is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States?

.... Further, because he would have betrayed our trust, confidence, and breach our faith in his responsibility to uphold and fulfill his sovereign duties ..... would he not also be guilty of both treason and treachery?
