*sigh* again...
There is no individual NEED for erections. None. It is not “medical”; one is not going to wither away because of it. I don’t care what males think is so desperately important to them and so the industry dutifully categorizes it so.
It is a WANT, not a NEED.

Yep, don't really NEED to walk, either, or see or poop out your rectum.
Not being able to get it up is God's way of telling you to find a hobby like bird watching.

(There should be a whole lot more going on than throwing bleach, said one woman.)

There is no absolute "need" to walk without pain, to have good vision in both eyes, to be able to move one's arms without pain, to have better hearing, to have straight teeth, or to be rid of many other physical ailments. Medicine extends far beyond treating potentially fatal illnesses. You talk like a medieval monk or a Christian Scientist. Sex may be optional for YOU, but others may want to enjoy a sex life if there is some treatment which makes that possible.
Your comment reminds me of the old joke, "I went to my doctor and told him it hurts when I do this [raises arm in air]." My doctor said, "Don't do that." You're like the doctor in the joke.
