Ted in 2016. Rick blew his chances last time.

Cruz, and that took about three seconds.

PLEASE!!!

Cruz not Perry!

Perry couldn’t win a debate with himself.

Please... no contest, Cruz by a mile. Don’t want to be embarrassed again by “hot gas” remember? Besides Alzheimer’s setting in, Perry is too willing to compromise on Amnesty (IMHO).

What's to choose.

Gardasil. Superhighway. Gore supporter (yeah, it was '88 but what conservative his age didn't know). Illegals.

I'm not even sure I could vote for him if he managed to be the candidate and I've held my nose a lot of times.

I might add that I've spoken to him on several occasions and the man just isn't smart. Oh, he's probably smart for a rat and a position that doesn't have much power but he ain't Cruz smart.

The space that Perry occupies in the 2016 field is as the electable conservative.

Seems we've heard that song before--on many occasions.

Brings to mind George H. W. Bush, whose promoters back in 1980 called him "Ronald Reagan in a Brooks Brothers suit." Yes, he was in a Brooks Brothers suit, but he wasn't Ronald Reagan.

Perry has proved too often that he’s not ready for prime time. Cruz hasn’t had a verbal gaff yet that I can think of. Cruz for me.

It took Reagan how many times?

Rick surpasses Cruz in experience and wisdom.

IIRC, he was still quite ill at the time of the our last encounter.

Sorry, but Rick Perry doesn’t seem bright enough to be the kind of POTUS we need.

Excellent point. I also seem to remember Reagan being described as an unelectable. I recall the media went nuts with that theme when Ford called him that.

Cruz would be my first choice. Perry could work for VP.

Ted Cruz by a very big ong shot.

Rick Perry has about 4 or 5 huge strikes against him IMO and I would not send him to higher office.
