I guess you missed the part of the article where it said the attack was “unprovoked”.
An unprovoked crime doesn’t indicate to me that it was triggered by a burst of anger. But I guess it is possible that some folk go through life always filled with anger and rage. Since I’m not like that I have difficulty identifying with it.
So I’m sticking with my one-on-one jihad assessment.

He killed him intentionally. U don’t kill someone with a single punch unless it is a specifically targeted area.
