Take a look at the picture on this site: http://watchdog.org/157606/senate-primary-race/

Has that AP picture been posted anywhere here on FR? If so, I’d like to see the discussion about it. If not, it should be discussed in its own thread, as it’s very interesting. Today is the first time I’ve seen this one, with the three votes crossed off the June 3rd column.

But it IS time to stop yammering and bring on the evidence.

You were a prosecutor. How would you advise McDaniel to get the precinct officers to release the poll books that contain the evidence that he needs?

We've seen the image of the one page that showed 3 illegal votes. The story now is that the Cochran camp is delaying access to the evidence so they can play this "put up or shut up" game in the media.

Does McDaniel have to wait for the state to certify the election tallies, and then go to court from a defensive posture to overturn an election? Do they have a way to force access to the poll books now prior to certification so that they will not be cast as "losers" in a court action?

What ARE the tools available to McDaniel now while the counting is still going on?

A little info in this article:

http://www.myfoxal.com/story/25920500/mississippi-gop-executive-committee-meets-with-heightened-security

Final numbers from the counties must be submitted by a July 7th deadline. That’s when
we can expect certification. There are still absentee votes and affidavit ballots to be counted.

“Many people felt like today’s meeting was something, some type of certification that
was finalized where people couldn’t challenge it,” said Nosef. “That’s also not true.
After we give the results to the Secretary of State, that actually begins the time when
someone can file a complaint if they desire. So this was part of the process and it’s
part of every process.”

Once the numbers are submitted to the Secretary of State’s office, it will publish the
results and then anyone contesting the election can file a complaint, but that has
to be in a court of law.

COCHRAN CAMP TELLS MCDANIEL: BRING THE FACTS FORWARD

Although state Sen. Chris McDaniel, R-Miss, believes the July 24 runoff election against Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., is a “sham” with “thousands of irregularities.”

During a conference call set up by Cochran’s campaign Wednesday, Cochran’s campaign adviser, Austin Barbour, calls the illegal voting claim “baseless” and said “it’s time for the McDaniel campaign to put up or shut up.” Barbour said that although McDaniel “ran a great campaign…Sadly, the time has come now that we can no longer sit still with all these baseless accusations that are being fed by the McDaniel campaign and their out-of-state allies.” Barbour challenged the campaign to bring forth hard evidence, “but quit talking about exaggerated numbers that they know are not true and we know are not true.”

McDaniel’s campaign claims they have more than 3,000 invalid votes. He needs nearly 6,800 votes to beat Cochran.

Crashed conference call – Daily Caller:

“The campaign of Republican Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran attempted to hold a conference call with the media on Wednesday, but was forced to cancel it midway through after someone hijacked the call with provocative questions about race.…[Austin Barbour] told the activist he would answer questions after he was done giving his statement…. It was not immediately known who the questioner was. But prior to the call, McDaniel supporter Charles C. Johnson — who published a story Wednesday accusing Cochran’s campaign of buying off black voters — tweeted out details on how people could access the conference call.”

According to The (Jackson, Miss.) Clarion-Ledger: “Some 30 minutes after the call started, someone was playing soundbites from President Barack Obama, Animal House and news shows. Eventually, some of the clips became racist and vulgar.”

If McDaniel does not fold under pressure, he will win this, it’s time for conservative candidates to fight back, the corruption will be much worse in November, count on it, prepare now on how to fight back, after the fact will be in most cases too late.

To catch thieves and get your stuff back, catch them in the act. You know the thieves are coming, they are right at the door...

I actually hope, and would pray, that by the time this shakes out even Thad himself will be disgusted at the nests of evil that are exposed.

I know.

Even though they know now that many of the votes are illegal because they have the poll books now, they will still count the illegal votes and report them for certification to the state. They will leave it to the court to throw them out instead of reporting now to the state that thousands of votes are illegal based on their own first-hand knowledge from inspecting the poll books.

That biases the process from the start against a challenger, because he begins from the presumption that the vote tallies represent legal votes. It's up to the challenger to get them tossed, and the Cochran camp to protect them, instead of the precincts to report the poll book inaccuracies from the start.

>>The sheet with the three voters in the Dem party has been brought up (with a picture of the same sheet, I believe) in several other threads. <<

I don’t think so. The sheet I believe you’re referring to is the one posted the day after the primary that showed three “illegal” votes, i.e., three voters who had “voted” written in both columns, Jan 3rd and Jan 24th.

If you look at the link I posted, the AP picture there is different. It has three instances where the “voted” in the Jan 3rd column is crossed out and initialed, and then “voted” written in the Jan 24th column. Mr. Perry, pictured, claims that those were mistakes made by the poll worker that were caught and corrected.

I’m wondering if that one has been discussed anywhere. I missed it if it has. It’s really quite interesting.

Yes, they have to report those votes as part of the count because, technically, they don’t know who they were cast for, McDaniel or Cochran, just that they were illegally cast.

Given what’s happened though, if they can come up with about 7,000 illegal voters, that should give a judge enough evidence that the election was tainted, and that the result cannot be trusted.
