Anthony Cumia, the “Anthony” part of the unfiltered “Opie and Anthony” show on SiriusXM radio, has been fired after criticism mounted over a graphic Twitter rant he engaged in that was called “racist,” “misogynistic,” and “hate-filled.”

How many times has this guy been fired? I think he needs to get canned every three years just to stay relevant.
I tend to avoid any of the links, unless the topic really intrigues me.....but I’ve seen a whole lot of FReepers complaining about cooties and/or problems with Blaze.

it’s all voluntary and it requires the person to actively post it.
he’s not the first person to be fired for doing something outside of work, that work finds out about, and decides to fire them.
to me, given he’s’more to the right of his employer, and apparently not a liberal idiot, i have to wonder if he wanted to get fired.
I’ve never heard this guy’s show. But the real story here is that he was the victim of a racial attack.
That fact will be conveniently omitted from all media stories on this.
I don't use Explorer but, yes, The Blaze website is so full of ads and photos and ads and animation and ads that it's hard to visit the page.
The tweets that led to the firing were sent early Wednesday morning. According to Cumia, he was taking pictures in Times Square late Tuesday/early Wednesday when a black woman took exception to being included in one of the pictures and “punched” him (as many as 10 times, he said). That’s when, he explained, five other black men jumped in and started giving him “sh**.”

It’s a pretty crap design website. There are so many redirects on that site it is unusable unless you set IE to low levels of security.
