"Kiev -1" special POLICE battalion-MIA - one of the most distinguished units in the battle of Mykolaivka and Slavonic. In the photo we meet with the guys on the night before the start of the offensive. I told them about the situation before the battle, and the guys listened. Glad I caught them all alive and healthy today! Posmtrite carefully - these are the faces of the future. Bright, beautiful, strong and free!

Glory to each of them and Glory to Ukraine!

"MIA"

Do they explain why they are missing in action?

That “MIA” is “translated” from MVD = Ministerstvo Vnutrishnich Dil = Interior Ministry.

Watch for headlines:
“Ukraine missing on map”

Computranslations are sooooo “good” :-)

The proper translation should have been:

UKRAINE: “Kiev -1” special battalion of IM (Interior Ministry)

CLARIFICATION (IMHO)

UKRAINE MIA does not mean missing in action.

Formation of a new civilian-based special police force named “Kiev-1” to help police the city. MIA, I believe, is the same group came to Slavyansk. (up to 30 people.9 The fighters operate as coherent military unit, they scout & are armed with assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades.

Approx 11th -13th April
“Saboteurs have come in open, throwing firecrackers. Pulled out the truck grille, and quietly captured policemen and armoury.

No power units in Ukraine has not yet arrived. This is obviously well-planned commando action. We will monitor the situation “
