One thing that normally comes up in elections is whether the candidate can speak another language. W could speak some Spanish, and he gave some speeches in Spanish.
Obama went to madrass' in Indonesia. I'd wager that he may not have learned Islam from English speakers.
Can he communicate in Farsi or Arabic? Anybody know that?
He can probably speak Arabic. He certainly could speak a certain amount of it as a schoolchild in Indonesia because in the Moslem school he attended it was required for him to be taught Arabic. His pronunciation of the memorization that he has enunciated is such that, again, he probably speaks Arabic.
Madrassas only teach Arabic. The Koran is only legitimate in Arabic. Moslems claim that there is no translation that is legitimate thus no one who does not read Arabic is lying when he quotes the Koran and anyone who does read Arabic who quotes the Koran unfavorably is also lying. The True Koran is only in Arabic and can only be truthfully read by faithful believers in the whole Moslem schtick.
Don’t know about Farsi, but he is fluent in farce-y.
