One of his assistants is trimming the big tree outside. The other assistant fixed the privacy wall on the North side of the yard.
They've been working since 9 A.M. this morning. Waiting for them to finish so I can head out and go pay the bill and eat my supper.
I've had to do my office work from the bedroom because they are needing to replace the carpet in the living room due to the mouse problems earlier this year. The Orkin guy came by yesterday and restocked the mouse killer with more mouse food.
What more could the well appointed doggie want? Lucky girl!!
It is spelled “Linda”, but it was only $1.00 at a yard sale, so we forgive the misspelling.

The pre-concert recital had the Ehnes String Quartet playing Beethoven's Quartet in C minor, Op. 18/4. It was a wonderful performance, and they got all the little gags in the finale to sound funny.
They also performed the Beethoven Quartet in F, Op. 59/1, and that was a joy. This quartet is going to be a star. They handled the finale at a brisk pace with no dawdling. Bob deMaine on his Villaume cello was a standout because there are some great cello lines in that quartet.
The Mendelssohn trio was amazing. At the end I expected the instruments to be on fire. I was sure they were at least smoking.

Good afternoon, E...((HUGS))...it’s RAINING. Steady rain for the time being.
Are you getting any rain? Did Bo catch a turtle lately?
No rain. No turtles lately.
Got back from my uncle’s funeral about an hour ago. He was 92 and a WWII vet. Saw a lot of cousins I hadn’t seen in years.
Beautiful, Meg, beautiful...love our troops. ((HUGS))
Yes we do love our troops. I loved finding that wonderful graphic.
Thank you!
(((HUGS)))
Oh, so sorry to hear that your uncle passed. He had a very long and wonderful life and he was one of my military heroes.
Funerals are the only times I see my cousins too. Sad world.
I see some cousins on a regular basis, mostly at reunions and other family events. Funerals are one event that has cousins from all over the states coming, especially for those who served in the military.
