In a developing story Thursday, Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Fox News anchor Sean Hannity are armed and ready to protect America’s border with Mexico.
Hannity tweeted out photos showing himself with the governor, with weapons and enough ammunition to shoot plenty of kids who dare to step across the border and cross into the United States.
Or that’s certainly the loony possibility that Hannity and Perry seem to imply.
Obviously, this is a ratings grab by Hannity and a publicity stunt by Perry. The governor is bound and determined to get more attention for his opposition to the thousands of children fleeing violence in Central America and coming to America illegally.
Naturally, America already has Border Patrol agents who are fully trained and capable of rounding up the kids and making sure U.S. laws are obeyed when the children cross the border.
Maybe those agents don’t need Hannity and Perry hinting that the best way to keep the kids out of this country are by winging them. Or doing something worse.
Some people in the far right will cheer on this kind of outrageous behavior by an elected official — and a stunt by a TV anchor. There certainly are legitimate concerns about making sure we know who’s trying to come across the border.

That was Representative Mc Caul (R-TX)....glad he got the word out but how many people will even hear it? I am so sick of hearing about the children!!!! These are the same children that the libs would have had no problem encouraging abortions for their mothers.
See my post #42. It was TX Representative Mc Caul on FOX with Bill Hemmer and Martha Mc Callum this morning. I didn’t hear anything about gang signs or tattoos as another poster has said. No mistaking what he said about 80% being males over the age of 16. He talked about the trip up here with drug cartel members and the terrible things that are happening to the young girls on the way. He said the trip was probably worse than what is happening now in the “refugee” camps.
Hannity, who said on Monday that there some people that are “threatening to send the militia to Texas”
His people are watching Free Republic and completely misreading what was put out here.
