Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) believes he can beat Hillary Clinton in the race for the 2016 presidency.

"Multiple people can beat her. Hillary Clinton is not unbeatable," the GOP presidential hopeful told radio host Hugh Hewitt in an interview Friday.

Minor vs. Happersett made no such declaration. It is a complete falsehood to state that it did - indeed, the court made it very clear the matter of being natural born was not before it - they made no such ruling. And indeed, multiple other rulings have been made by the Court to establishment natural born citizenship since then.

Rubio will bring energy and bilingual skills to his November 2016 concession speech.

Bilingual? I'm sick of people in America speaking foreign languages. English used to be glue that kept America together and united.

The fact is, Bush got the highest R Hispanic vote because he could and did speak some Spanish.

Since many millions entered this country illegally under Bush's watch, during war time, what exactly did he tell them in Spanish?

The key ingredient is skills. There’s no way you’re going to get a pure as snow governor. All of them are flawed. All of them play the political game, but at least a governor understands moving an agenda forward.

Keep in mind Reagan came from what was the most dynamic state in the union at the time - California. I don’t just mean its businesses which are diverse, but its politics as well. The road back isn’t a straight line. We need another Thomas or two on the Supreme Court.

I’d love to see a Pres. Perry appoint a hard tack Texas A&M trained lawyer there. It’s filled with Ivy leaguers and that isn’t healthy. I like Perry, not because he’s solid, but because he brings in Texans and Texas thinking. I know he’s flawed, but I don’t see anyone who isn’t.

Conservatives have to be pragmatic and understand that the direction of movement is what’s important. People like incremental change, but they especially like growing economies. Perry would open up energy.

I also very much like Walker from WI. He’s maneuvered very effectively in what is nominally a Democrat state. He’s pivoted around every entrapment the Dem machine could think of and he just keeps on target and wins.

I suspect that there will be a Ross Perot candidate in 2016. We’ve got to keep conservatives in the GOP. Keep control of the states via governorships and legislatures. Keep a very conservative House. That’s were the TEA Party is going to be most effective. Move the states our way over time while putting in place real blocks to expanding state, federal and local government interference in people’s lives.

We’ve got 29 governors and 27 legislatures in GOP control. The TEA party in each of those states needs to work its agenda where we have the most control. Killing force unionization, enacting/enforcing (perhaps by allowing individual voters to have standing) voter ID while ending same day registration, and using the Commerce Clause to chop regulations down to size are the right way. We need to back disruptive technologies that overwhelm and undermine government.

If we could expand the state controls to 30+/30+ and hold that for decades, along with keeping the House/Senate for a generation we can do a lot.

The other thing is Hillary and Perry are the same age. Walker is 46. With a Perry/Walker ticket you could see 16 years of GOP control of the Presidency.

I don’t think Walker can pull it, so I’d like to see a Perry/Walker ticket. If Perry used Walker to plot strategy and Perry brought in Texas thinking to the WH it would be very good for the country.

We could expand energy and a President who simply rolled back regulations to the Bush era would see business boom. Walker will be 48 in 2016 and Perry will be 68 (same as Hillary). Governors beat Senators and I suspect we could see a 56 year old Walker replace Perry’s second term. Walker is thoughtful. Perry’s got hustle and connections.

What other governors are out there that run as dynamic and large a state as Texas? Capture Texas and Wisconsin and you make the Dem roadmap to the WH harder.

Rubio is an open-border amnesty pimp.

He worked with hand in glove with the Democrats to craft the largest ever amnesty bill in the history of the planet along with massive permanent increases to legal immigration and "temporary workers" (ie third-world population transfers to our homeland).

Only the GOP having the House prevented Rubio's sick dream from becoming reality.

I bet some money offshore that Rubio will not even win Florida and despite his last name will lose just as badly Latino votes as McCain and Romney.

I don't know, but I know that if we get another Dem in the White House, he/she will finish off of what's left of the US after Obama..

Doesn't matter to many here - they will find some way to seat another Dim and then claim it's their principles that made them do it while blaming others because they couldn't make the only choice to keep us afloat. Many still try to claim that Romney would have been as bad as Obama - I think we will all need some of the drugs they're taking after the next election.

Who has real name recognition? Who is constantly demonized by the Press? Who does the NYT hate the most? Who is ridiculed the most? ........................ Sounds like that’s the one you would want, throw in Sect’y Rice as VP and you might have a chance, if not, you’ll get a great show. The smartest woman in the world isn’t, she’s just a crafty sleaze, being pushed and $upported by $pecial interest groups and the Liberal media.

“Multiple people can beat her”.................. Yeah, with sticks and stones, but names will never harm her, the MSM will see to that.

But the American people as a whole truly believe that HRC is “the smartest woman in the world”.

Perry is three years HRC’s junior, but the American people have already chosen HRC - it’s a done deal.

Thanks for the correction. Perry can use that in his attacks on Hillary’s age.

“The fact is, Bush got the highest R Hispanic vote because he could and did speak some Spanish. I figure a Rubio or other candidate who is fluent will increase the percentage.”

Spanish is important to you, eh?

The GOPe is all for making us the northernmost Latin American country.
