It’s 1776 and you aren’t Texas, you’re Massachusetts, trying to convince the other colonies that leaving you to fight the war in your colony alone is no solution. AND you must convince them that they have no right to ask you to keep fighting the king’s onslaughts at your own expense just so they can keep pretending that all is well when it’s an illusion.
