I’ve had hundreds of answers to prayer in my life, but atheists tell me they’re all coincidences.

Every prayer is answered, but the answer is frequently "no".

Atheists have a god. They see their god in the mirror every day.

“No” is still an answer, and sometimes for the best.

I particularly like it when someone says I’ve been “brainwashed”. I can assure them, my brain was in desperate need of washing!

Guess I’m also brainwashed. Funny thing is that no one in the White House (to most assuredly include the Obamadork) could even begin to be hired in my company.

And, virtually every PhD I know (and they’re all in math/physics/EE....are very avide Christians.

Go figure.

Guess we’re all tres stupid and managed to fool our superiors.

Silly us, believing in a God when those who know better (?) just KNOW there isn’t a God.

Oops, disregard my spelling errors. Move along, move along.

But, I’m still way, way smarter than the Obamadork.

One of my favorite courses was Probability and Statistics. You start calculating the probability of certain things happening and you start doubting the concept of randomness.

Atheism attracts the most arrogant and condescending people I have ever met. There is no debating them. Everyone, but them, is some stupid backward non thinking hick who believes in fairy tails and Santa Klaus. To them there is no purpose in life. There is nothing after death. And my favorite is the loud declaration that Christianity has killed more people than anything in history.

I always tell them to go preach their atheist gospel in hospitals. Tell the infirmed that find comfort in their faith that they have been duped and they are stupid and there is nothing to hope for when they die.

They never do.

Beautifully written and expressed. Mirrors my own experiences. So many ‘coincidences’, so many miraculous events; cannot be explained away.

That’s one thing I’d take issue with the author on - not all atheists “ignore those around them in need”.

The core of atheism and humanism in general is the worship of self. Many, in the pursuit of their own definition of righteousness, do help others, but they do it to aggrandize themselves.

As Isa 64:6 says, if you’re not doing it for the Glory of the Lord, all your works are as filthy rags.

Jesus is not a crutch. He is a stretcher. I need Him to do everything for my salvation. I can do nothing. All is grace.

“I cannot understand how atheists are able to ignore the spiritual realm as if it doesn’t exist”

Er...Because it doesn’t?

Like the probability of life occurring spontaneously. The odds of the simplest life form existing by chance is less that 1 in 10^500.

the loud declaration that Christianity has killed more people than anything in history.

Communism is atheist and has murdered more than 70 million people in the past 70 years.

It's not good that there have been wrongful deaths caused by Christians for wrong reasons. You should remind them every day those are wrong, yet aberrations. Atheists, however have killed HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of their own countrymen in their search for "justice" in just the past hundred years, a known fact.

Never let them forget that because the tally isn't even close. Deaths at Salem, a bit over a dozen. Let them do the math and compare that with hundreds of millions, then watch them splutter and turn red.

Not long ago, there was a search for the “simplest” lifeform currently extant on the earth.

They found it, but it was in no way “simple” as far as being able to accidentally occur.

They “rescued” their theory, though, by saying the original simplest lifeform from which all the “tree of life” evolved no longer exists.

I have found that they often have a very adolescent mindset, even if they are well into their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Some can be very intelligent and articulate, but speaking with them is like speaking with a bright teenager who "knows everything." And they love mockery.
