CHENEY: Obama Is 'The Worst President Of My Lifetime' - Business Insider
BUSINESSINSIDER.COM ^ | 14 minutes ago | Colin Campbell

Posted on 07/15/2014 3:14:38 PM PDT by FreeAtlanta

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, who was born in 1941, thinks President Barack Obama is the country's worst commander-in-chief of his lifetime. "I think he is the worst president of my lifetime. I fundamentally disagree with him. I think he's doing a lot of things wrong," Cheney said Tuesday on CNN's "The Lead with Jake Tapper."

.....

"Jimmy Carter might have been a better president than Barack Obama, and I didn't think I'd ever say that," said Cheney.

He’s living in the White House, but he was put there fraudulently, for the purpose of destroying America as we know it.

He is NOT a president. He is an enemy.

He is a joyless and cold man.

That's not what the American people think.

Yeah. They hate Cheney more than anyone. I have never understood that.

Can you imagine what it would be like having the power he had and now being powerless? I would have nightmares. Running towards the White House and never getting there.

Constitutionally his voice is as powerful as mine or yours. Are we speaking publicly? Are we going to Washington to make our voices heard? Are we calling our representatives every dang day or are we just talking to the people we love here at Free Republic?

Are we talking to college kids? Are we teaching in elementary schools? Are we talking on the subway? Are we talking to our neighbors? Are we out canvassing door to door for our candidates? Are we posting at liberal websites?

ARE WE RUNNING FOR CITY COUNCIL OR SCHOOL BOARD OR INFILTRATING OUR GOVERNMENT THE SAME WAY THE COMMUNISTS DID?

I heard Dick Cheney speak in the early 1990s, when nobody had any idea he would someday be Vice President. He was talking about the different Presidents (of recent decades) and had something positive to say about each them except Jimmy Carter. As I recall he was mainly talking about their defense policies. He did say something positive about Carter’s Secretary of Defense, Harold Brown.

I too wish Bush would say something. I thought it was appropriate initially that he didn’t make any comments, but now that Obama is dragging our country to ruin and destroying anything that Bush achieved in the Middle East, I think it would be more than appropriate for him to say at least a tiny something.

Eh, I think there’s too many contenders for Obama to be the worst president (and I’m happy to state my reasons for that if anyone’s curious).

That being said, the folks who still think he’s the best and brightest need the bottle of whatever it is they’re drinking smashed over their head.

Yes, but, Cheney did a poor job advising GWB, or GWB had ear plugs in his ears listening to baseball whenever Cheney was around.

Yes, after a half dozen or so, none of them have been any good.

You have a good point. It takes more than whining online to make change.

Jimmy is preparing a huge Gift Basket of the best Georgia Peanut Products, with a big Republican-Red bow on top. Special Delivery to Vice Pres. Cheney. Jimmy’s note; “Dick, all is forgiven! I forgive every wisecrack you ever said about me. Every one!” RSVP to my upcoming Birthday Party.

When obama sank into the lake of fire, Richard Nixon floated to the surface followed by Jimmy Carter’s kicking legs.

George W. was savaged in the media, both nationally and internationally, like nothing I’d ever seen before. Even if you believe what you do is for the country’s good, you know it had to hurt his soul seeing so many millions of people making a national passtime of publicly expressing their hate for you.

I often wonder how he got out of bed in the morning. I wonder how he could bear giving interviews to completely biased reporters without telling them where to go. Both George W. and Jeb have grown up immersed in politics since childhood. Therefore their tolerance level for political B.S. is going to be much higher than the average office holder. It’s almost like growing up in show business, the way Ronnie Howard did. Or being raised as part of a Royal Family. I can’t blame W. for staying out of it. Nixon went through a pariah period also after leaving office.

He’ll send Cheney a case of Billy Beer... or maybe an autographed picture of himself in the canoe with the killer rabbit and the paddle.
