Pope Francis Calls On U.S. To Welcome Illegal Immigrants
Breitbart ^ | 16 Jul 2014, | by ROBERT WILDE

In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide.

Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.”

Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of children who migrate alone, unaccompanied, to escape poverty and violence.” He further sympathized, saying that “this is a category of migrants… who cross the border with the United States under extreme conditions and in pursuit of a hope that in most cases turns out to be vain." The Pope added that the amount of those willing to take the dangerous journey “are increasing day by day."

The Argentinean pontiff claims that the illegal immigrants are “forced to emigrate, suffer, and often, die tragically; many of their rights are violated, they are obliged to separate from their families and, unfortunately, continue to be the subject of racist and xenophobic attitudes.”

Finally, the Pope called for everyone to have a new outlook toward “migrants and refugees” and that we should discard previous conceptions of “defensiveness and fear, indifference and marginalization.” Moreover, the world should transform itself from a “throwaway culture” to a culture "capable of building a better, more just and fraternal world."

So we can ship our illegal aliens to the Vatican? Of course not. The Vatican is a closed area.

I don’t think he values wealth personally, but he needs to wake up to how economics work. He would have our country destroyed if it were up to him.

We will become like the countries the illegal aliens left if this invasion continues unabated.

What has been gained? Nothing.

He doesn’t give a crap as long as the RCC wealth stays intact. I’d suggest he sell all the treasures and support the immigrants himself.

I concur.

He doesn’t care as long as the money keeps flowing in.

According to Scripture, yes, he thinks before he says things like this.

Matthew 25: 24-46

34

Then the King will say to those at his right hand, `Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

35

for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,

36

I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'

37

Then the righteous will answer him, `Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink?

38

And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee?

39

And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?'

40

And the King will answer them, `Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'

41

Then he will say to those at his left hand, `Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels;

42

for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,

43

I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'

44

Then they also will answer, `Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to thee?'

45

Then he will answer them, `Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.'

46

And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

So, it appears that the Pope is encouraging that Catholics violate the edict in Romans Chapter 13 to respect and obey the laws of the Country.

If I were a Catholic, I’d be calling for his impeachment.

Does anyone else notice this Pope never utters a word of support toward protecting the Christian and Jewish minorities from brutal oppression in muslim countries?

His lack of his expressed concern about such matters has been noted from the beginning of his tenure.

I can guarantee you that the Vatican has zero illegal aliens.

Anyone overstaying their welcome or attempting to get in illegally is immediately tossed out of the country with no hearing or anything else.

Would the Vatican welcome a few thousand of these people if we put them on a plane? Or would the Vatican react like the people in Murrieta?

Sigh. The worst Pope since the Borgias seems to have no problem with children dying in the desert and in cartel mass graves as long as the US “welcomes” the survivors.

Sal, why don’t you take in a few of these people? Why place that burden on non-Catholics?

Have you volunteered your home to house these illegal aliens?

Of course he will shill for his swine hombres from the hell that is South America. I’m sick of others dictating what we “must” do in order to gratify their agendas. I don’t see any other countries scrambling to take them in.

“product of globalization”

Uh...NO! Pope Francis, its a “product” of Obama’s plan to DESTROY AMERICA and maintain control via a permenent dependent class.

The RC Church in Italy, the United States, Latin America and across Europe has many, many seminaries and monasteries that are essentially empty because the Church has lost so many members and clergy. In fact, the Feds are looking, or have looked, at these sites to place the “temporary” immigrates , for instance, I know of reports re Syracuse, NY ( in middle class area) and Albany, NY (near a inner city area), the former is still under review and the latter is “unsuitable”, sure that the neighborhood has nothing to do with the decision.
I’ll bet Democrat bastions like Detroit, Buffalo NY, Rochester NY, Syracuse NY, Albany-Troy-Schenectady would love to house these people. More votes, more dole money. Besides, the immigrates would provide diversity that has been compromised by White Flight in the above named cities (and many more that could be named).
Boston, Cape Cod, NANTUCKET, Martha Vineyard, Burlington VT, Bennington VT, also come to mind.
The Republicans in Congress should make sure that the immigrants are housed in Blue States so that Red States are not politics are compromised.

Talk about a blatant misapplication of scripture. Both by you AND by the pope... if he actually based his proclamation off of it.
