Go back to the original intent and that is districts having one representative. For example, Duval County will have one representative no matter the population. No more drawing districts. It really is stupid. In Anne Arundel where I live, We are one county, but have FIVE different Representatives depending on where you live. That is crap. Anne Arundel County should have ONE Representative representing the entire population of Anne Arundel County PERIOD.

Districts have been drawn to benefit blacks, and thus democrats, for years. It’s called Gerrymandering. Another way of saying Gerryrigged. Which was another way of saying...

Should be a constitutional requirement that all districts be as compact and contiguous as possible. NO gerrymandering, period. if that means 500 dems or reps in congress so be it.
There is always a quantifiable solution to any problem.
