Secure the border for a period of not less than 10 years and then we can talk about “reform”.

Nothing less will do.

Tell Barry we’ll give him a few bucks to buy Huggies and baby wipes for his “unaccompanied” invaders if he’ll give Americans 3.7 Trillion to seal the border.

We still have a two party system...Tea party vs. Dem/Rep party...and the Dem/Rep party is dominating.

We should be very wary of any border bill coming out of Congress. The Dems and the GOPe can use this appropriations bill for additional funding as a Trojan Horse for comprehensive immigration reform.

Michael McCaul (R-TX) helped push a bad border bill thru his committee. Last Sunday, he mentioned that he wanted the bill to come to the floor for a vote. Beware of any immigration legislation that can be marked up and changed in the conference committee. IMO the orchestrated border crisis was intended to do just that, i.e., force Congress to pass an immigration bill that will act as a Xmas tree for amnesty and increased legal immigration and doubling our guest worker programs.

Jeff Sessions is the one we should be supporting. Whatever he supports, I support.

What's Cruz going to do, help idiot Beck hand out lollypops and teddy bears to the illegal invading latinos?

He needs to get out there and raise h*ll and do more to help close the border. He needs to do more like jump on spineless Perry for not calling out Texas guards to secure the border.

The federal executive has no authority to alter a state constitution.

The federal executive has no authority over the Texas State Guard.

The federal executive has no authority over the Texas reserve militia.

The federal executive does have authority over the Texas Army National Guard and the Texas Air National Guard only when they are called into actual service of the United States. At all other times the Governor is the Commander in Chief of these forces.
