At a political event in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, President Obama devoted only 40 seconds to the shooting down of the Malaysian airline, his first statement to the world following the news.
His emotionless reference to the attack as ‘a terrible tragedy’ seemed disconnected from the horrific moment, particularly as he immediately reverted to script to praise his administration and criticise Republicans. It was a far cry from President Reagan’s 1983 fierce denunciation of the Soviet shooting down of a Korean airliner as a ‘crime against humanity’. The commander in chief went beyond safety and said: ‘We have been very clear to the Assad regime … that a red line for us is [when] we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilised.’
The term ‘red line’ is the kind of clear, emphatic language major powers use only when they are prepared to back words with action.

The same moron who is always accusing the Congress of doing nothing.
I think he’s doing plenty.
Every bit of it is deliberate, and according to plan.
I saw his statement- he seemed totally doped up to me, but hey, I’m not an expert.
I always get a kick out of how they make sure to praise the work of the failures they surround themselves with.

Hey do not forget he has cartons full of red markers and will not hesitate to use them even when he is golfing, on vacation, fund raising, attending partirs or at his favorite bath house.
And of those 40 seconds, 27 were spent looking stupid and trying to remember what he was supposed to say.
Seems the only ones fearful of Mr. Mulatto are WTP. Will WE ever be able to ignore him and begin to laugh and live free once again?
Weak and Timid and stupid President wonder how proud his voters are now?.
He isn’t doing what he should be doing but he is not inactive. What laws is he penning? What countries is he supporting? What allies are being thrown under the cadillac? What terrorists are being released? National security is non-existent. Leaks from the administration, leaks in the border.
The amazing thing is that those who are in power and could do something about it, are watching Rome burn.
