WH not worried about Ginsburg chatter
The Hill ^ | 07/20/14 | Amie Parnes and Justin Sink

The White House says it’s not worried about a possible retirement by Ruth Bader Ginsburg or any other Supreme Court justice.

Speculation on the high court’s next vacancy has centered on the 81-year-old Ginsburg, who has had health problems.

Some on the left have openly worried it could be tough for the Obama administration to fill a vacancy, especially if the GOP wins back the Senate this fall.

“especially if the GOP wins back the Senate this fall. “

What horsesh**. All Obama has to do is nominate a woman or minority to the court and scream racism or “war on women” until they are approved by the gutless RINOs in the Senate.

Because it “wouldn’t be the right time” to fight against it for the RINOs.

LOL nobody said she was anything but perceptive enough to see that 0bama is ruining the Country.

Whether she thinks Egypt should model a constitution after ours or not - for whatever reasons - is not relevant there.

I think she doesn’t like what 0bama is doing to her nation. I could be wrong of course - but the link doesn’t go to that IMO.

Actually, I’m hoping that we conservatives can count on the one trait of Liberals - their own selfish desires at the expense of others. While Ginsberg IS a rabid liberal, I don’t personally think she’s all that invested in Obama, especially with the quality of Obama’s last two appointments to the SC solely because of ethnicity and sexual orientation.

I’m guessing she’ll hold on to the very end like Teddy, or Byrd, or any of the others banking on Hillary to take over. In that case, I hope she hangs on and I pray that Hillary is finished.

In a sane world, she should have been impeached at the VERY least and removed from the bench... She swore to uphold the constitution she thinks someone else shouldn’t use as a base to start theirs...

Her opinions are motivated by ideology & politics... When she votes against Obama it’s because she doesn’t want a Rep being able to do it in the future either...

You give her more credit that I do...

If Obama nominated Karl Marx, Graham, McCain and a dozen other RINO fools would vote to confirm him.

Why should they be worried? There are plenty more liberal nut jobs where she came from. All you gotta do is look under rocks.

This is just one of many media tactics to gin up support for rat GOTV efforts.

The media and the rats are two divisions of the same enterprise. Sometimes it's difficult to tell which one controls the policy committee.

Stay the course Ruth, hang in there. I know that you know that these people are MORONS. We do not need another Obama pick on the SCOTUS. Kagen, maybe, was OK, maybe. Sotomayor is not too wise.

The Rs better run somebody good in ‘16. I want a person who will shake things up. Who will play turnabout.

and, most importantly, who will NOT CARE what the NY Times says about him/her.

Why worry? McConnell has already said he will change the Senate rules back to what they were before the cattle rustler Reid changed them.

And the RINOs will make sure the wannabe king gets what he wants.

If secession not, then revolution must.

The administration also thinks GOP opposition to an Obama nomination to the Supreme Court could backfire on Republicans, one senior official said.

Ever see the Hill write this drivel about Bush and his nominations? Pure Goebbels style propaganda BS is all that comes out of the...

Hatch would advocate a suitable liberal replacement.

I [Hatch] asked whether he [Clinton] had considered Judge Stephen Breyer of the First Circuit Court of Appeals or Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals....I knew them both and believed that, while liberal, they were highly honest and capable jurists and their confirmation would not embarrass the President. From my perspective, they were far better than the other likely candidates from a liberal Democrat administration.
