One of my favorite actors. I read that he was also a big lib, but he kept his beliefs fairly low-key, unlike today’s Hollywood libtards.

So sad the time we have come to, as we lose more of the real stars and gentlemen and women of the acting trade to be left with the modern technicians of the trade. Rest in piece Mr. Garner, you will be missed!

He brought much entertainment and enjoyment to many folks. One of the more respectable Hollywood’ers.
Never missed Maverick when I was a youngster and just watched Space Cowboys (again) a few nights ago. RIP Mr. Garner — Thank You

The Rockford Files was one of the best shows ever. I can’t remember all the times, two men dressed in suits showed up at his trailer, usually to beat him up. sometimes just to take him to some big shot.
That trailer sure was large on the inside, nice too considering how small it was on the outside.

James Garner was good in everything he did in my view, may he RIP.
He was awarded two Purple Hearts for wounds in the Korean war.

He had one of the best tv cars ever. That Firebird was like him, cool and understated, but very powerful.

I remember seeing him in some old Doris Day movies.....such a young guy back in those days. It’s hard to believe he was 86.
Enjoyed his role in “The Rockford Files.”
