I probably won’t transcribe this one, but here’s audio of Zach Taylor commenting on Governor Rick Perry’s announcement today about sending 1000 National Guard to the border.

Basically, he says that he is hearing that the NG will be deployed North of the border in the ranch lands around the Wildhorse Desert. He worked the Rio Grande sector for 12 years. So to him, the area of deployment indicates that a significant percentage of the illegals are making it past the border towns, past BP and a good distance into the interior of Texas, which means trouble.

That has been indicated in the Governor’s comments and other info I’ve seen.
Basically the Governor used the term Hwy 83 and into the area in Jim Hogg County.
I get the feeling that drugs are the number 1 issue and not immigration.
Just my read and that can be way off.

Everyone thinks the illegals are all running into the arms of the nearest BP to collect their get out of jail pass and goodies. The truth is the very people we need here the least; the violent criminals, terrorists, etc. of course will not turn themselves in to BP, they may travel to and even cross the border with those seeking freebies but then they will head to the “wilderness” to get through desert and unpopulated areas to somewhere that has enough people for them to blend in. BP has been so busy with the people turning themselves in they are spread thin to look for bad guys.
National Guard will not be allowed to do a whole lot, last time they were here they were not allowed ammo, and were not allowed to interact with illegals- which is BS of course but is how it was. NG still does some good, they can spot illegals for BP, they also do many tasks that free up more BP to be out there where they can do their job. The fact is BP is not allowed to do a whole lot either so even though this is a step in the right direction we all still need to get the word out about what is going on, keep pounding our elected officials, media, attend protests- whatever we can do to keep this in the spotlight.
