Perhaps it is a matter of perception. Nonsense at the beginning is no less nonsense if repeated or if a quote is added. Nonsense repeated often enough unfortunately becomes believed, but still remains nonsense. If a writer lies or greatly exaggerates one part of a story, then how would someone determine if any other part is truthful?

The writer's history then is relevant and demonstrates the writer's pattern of deceit. Toss out the entire article when the opening premise fails. The story doesn't get better, the truth doesn't somehow magically appear, quote or not. How often have people been misquoted yet very few bother reading the correction the next day and even less connect it to the original story and even less change their original perception from their first errant read.

There's a Roberto's in Ocean Beach on Voltaire Street right down by the beach, about a block away. The O.B. Roberto's is where I've seen Rolls Royces, Porsches, Beamers, Range Rovers lined up in the drive-thru. There are many Roberto's all over San Diego County - there's one in Old Town, one in Oceanside ... well here's the link Robertos Locations

After looking at that link I have to admit I'm a little sad to see that instead of moving North, they went East and now have many Roberto's in Nevada. Good for Nevada, sad for anyone North of San Diego. :(
