In January 2011, the Weber-Morgan County Narcotics Strike Force conducted a nighttime drug raid on the Ogden, Utah, home of Matthew David Stewart. An ex-girlfriend had tipped off the police that Stewart was growing pot in his basement. He was; Stewart, a former veteran, suffered from PTSD, and used the pot to self-medicate. The police had no evidence that Stewart was selling any of his pot. Once police took down his door with a battering ram, Stewart, who was sleeping, grabbed a handgun.

At least he killed one pig and wounded five before they got him. Too bad the poor guy hanged himself, I know I never would have convicted him on anything but the pot plants. I espescially like that the badged thugs tried to smear his name while he was in custody and couldn’t defend himself. Hopefully a few more of these jack boots wind up on the slab as it appears they intend to continue this madness.
I hope not.
The system, one he volunteered to serve, protect and defend, took him back to their place, humiliated him and made him kill himself and then cleared itself of any wrong doing.

But when Blair responded to the sounds of men breaking into his home at night by running out of his bedroom with a golf club, they gunned him down.
“Once Stewart was charged, law enforcement officials started to malign him in the press. They claimed to have found child pornography on his computer, an accusation they quietly retracted after his death. They said he once boasted that he’d kill any cops who came into his home, a statement they apparently got from the bitter ex-girlfriend. They also leaked that they had found a photo of him dressed in jihadi gear. It was a photo from Halloween in which Stewart had dressed up as Osama bin Laden.”
The one real issue missing from the article is the ex-girlfriend, whose name is public record. In her bitterness and rage, she “SWATTED” her ex-boyfriend so hard that he and other people DIED.
This woman needs to be identified as a person who killed all of them. For her petty vindictiveness, people died. She needs to wear that as a millstone for the rest of her life.
Certainly any man who considers ever having a relationship with her should be apprised of this.
Hopefully it was the one who shot the guy holding the golf club in the raid a month earlier. He gave him an order and pulled the trigger at the same time. That cop had no intention of letting him comply with his order. He only intended to kill the guy.

This, like the edited 911 tape of Zimmerman, isn’t something that happens by accident.
I don’t know how anyone can convict someone of killing a cop during a raid. Their goal is to surprised confuse you. Congratulations, you succeeded in creating enough confusion that you got a cop killed. Time to throw a party!
Last year, a guy was in a similar situation. Killed a cop. Walked. Cops weren’t happy about that. Freedom loving people were thrilled though.
Funny how when the professionals screw up, they get a pass. But let us make a mistake, and they want capital murder.

Yes and no. If cops weren’t so eager to play soldier, this would not have gone down like this. She is responsible for her choices, but not theirs.

Now, he needs to sue them and make the point formal in a judgement.
