Sarah Palin Endorses Joe Carr for Senate Against Lamar Alexander
Breitbart ^ | July23, 2014 | Tony Lee

On Wednesday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin endorsed conservative Tennessee state representative Joe Carr in his primary bid to oust incumbent Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN).

Carr has been hammering Alexander before the August 7th primary for voting for the Senate's Gang of Eight comprehensive amnesty bill even after he was warned by law enforcement officials that it would exacerbate the border crisis. Even Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) voted against the final bill.

Palin thanked Alexander for his service and then promptly said it is time for new leaders who will have the guts to tell the Obama administration, "no mas."

"Unfortunately, advocating and voting for amnesty, cash for clunkers, bailouts, raising the debt ceiling, and many controversial Obama administration nominees has marred the incumbent’s record," Palin wrote on her Facebook page. "It’s time for a change."

Palin's announcement comes a day after conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham, who powered Dave Brat to a shocking upset win over House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) last month, campaigned for Brat in Tennessee on Tuesday evening.

I just hope voters have been stewing over Alexander’s antics and vote him out of office sending him back home {to DC} next month. We can’t afford him again here.

"Joe knows that government is most often the problem, not the solution, and he will work to reduce the size of our federal bureaucracy and always use the Constitution as his guide."

Bingo.

Meanwhile, over at The Mark Levin Show:

---------------------------------------------

What's interesting is his fan club loves to demonize ANYONE who DOESN'T blindly endorse a Tea Party Senate race challenger as a "lapdog for the GOP-E!!!" who "thinks the incumbent is entitled to a lifetime career in the Senate"

But, of course, his holiness Mark Levin is EXEMPT from the rules of his own fan club. Not a single Levinite is going to start screaming that Levin "is a GOP-E tool who thinks Alexander is entitled to a lifetime job" because he won't lift a finger to support Carr (kinda like how Paulbots would be raising hell in public if anyone else endorsed Mitch McConnell, but its fine and dandy if their savior Rand does it)

Yeah, this would have been more helpful about 2-3 months ago and even more help if she could have campaigned with him in a few places in TN.

Flinn is running cover for Lamar!. Fred Thompson did the same thing for McCain to thwart Hucksterbee. Fred never intended to truly campaign.

Mark repeatedly attacks Lamar and has vocally supported Carr.

Thompson has endorsed Alexander calling him a Conservative.
Disappointed me greatly Thompson would lie like that.

Good for him, took him long enough. He’s been pushing that loser Wolf for months.

More importantly, good for Sarah, her endorsement is the important one.

I am cautiously optimistic that we have a real chance here and we can have a late surge like what happened with Cantor and Brat. Just like that race, Lamar is touting an internal poll that shows him up HUGE.

My biggest concern is all the minor candidate losers who will split the vote, 45% (or less) could be enough for Lamar to win.
