That is a totally idiotic thought on your part, and I believe you to be too intellligent to believe it. All Freepers that say there is a moral, intellectual and emotional equivalence between Barak Hussein Obama and Mitt Romney are lying to themselves and to others. Perhaps there are as many Mormon haters as there are Jew haters roaming around on various threads here. How else do you explain the irrationality and dislike displayed so often in the comments sections. It morally disgusts me.
That’s a very emotional response on your part, with all due respect. I choose to look at the record. The man’s religion to me is meaningless—unless it is unclear with taint of mendacity (such as with Obama) or deliberately shows enmity to the USA’s Constitution.
Besides, I already stated that I was in the “hold my nose and vote” category. At best, Romney would have been another Bush, but further left. When it comes to politicians (especially versus statesmen), Jeremiah 17:5 is the rule of thumb, so to speak.
