He basically walked in...did about twelve months of nothing (there’s no single legislation that you can attach to his name for the first year)....then shifted into campaign mode for year two as a Senator and barely appeared once a month...strictly for big-name voting situations in the Senate.
What great feats did he do as a state senator in Illinois? Well...nothing.
What big-name accomplishments did he have as a community organizer? To this date....no US media organization can indicate anything worthy of an award during this period.
