Reid: House border bill dead in Senate

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said even if House Republicans get the votes necessary to pass its emergency border spending bill, there isn’t enough support in the Senate for the “wrong-headed” measure.

“The House appears to be getting from bad to worse as the House Republican Majority hunts for votes,” Reid said on the Senate floor Friday. “House Republicans will vote to deport children that have been living in the U.S. for their entire lives all in a pathetic attempt to appease the Tea Party.”

“If the House does pass a bill, I can’t imagine it could be cleared on either side over here,” Reid said.

On Thursday, a $2.7 billion proposal failed to gain enough support to advance in the Senate, meaning Congress won’t address the issue before leaving town.

I’m satisfied on no bill to give money to keep these illegals in splendor while they await the grand Obama Vizir’s Executive Order decree making them citizens.

I want his government to have to start taking money away from government Executive Branch agencies to fund all this. Take it away from DHS, TSA - heck, take it from the SNAP program. Not one more dime!

Harry Reid is the biggest case of Congressional Constipation this country has ever seen. There’s an interesting contrast though .... while he ‘blocks up’ over 300 bills passed in the House by not allowing a vote on them in the Senate, he constantly “runs off” at the mouth.

History now proves that if, like Eisenhower, you actively enforce immigration laws then illegal aliens will voluntarily leave before they get caught and forcibly deported.

On the other hand, if, like Obama, you announce that you will not enforce immigration laws then an endless horde of illegal aliens come streaming in across the border.

Our next President must enact Eisenhower's program of actively enforcing immigration laws and deporting illegal aliens within days after taking office.

The Democrats and the lamestream media will scream bloody murder, but the illegal alien problem will be solved before the next Congressional elections.

Force the Democrat Socialists to choose between "it's for the children" to care for the plight of the illegal alien children versus "it's for the children" to protect the health and well-being of American children.
