House revives, approves border crisis bill – as Obama vows to ‘act alone’
Fox News ^ | 1 Aug 2014

The House late Friday revived and approved a Republican-authored border crisis bill after GOP leaders hurriedly resolved an internal battle that scuttled the vote a day earlier – but with the Senate on recess and the House soon to follow, there’s little chance of any bill reaching President Obama’s desk until the fall.

The president now is vowing to act unilaterally to address the illegal immigration issue.

The House legislation was approved on a 223-189 vote. The new version of the bill adds additional funding for the National Guard and includes policy changes meant to speed deportations of illegal immigrant children surging across the southern border.

However, a separate Senate bill died on a procedural vote a day earlier, and no more votes in that chamber are scheduled until early September.Even if the Senate were somehow to approve the House bill, Obama vowed Friday he would veto it.

In the absence of any legislation that all sides can agree on, the president threatened to act on his own to address immigration challenges, potentially during the five-week recess.

"I'm going to have to make some tough choices to meet the challenge, with or without Congress," Obama said Friday, speaking to reporters in the White House briefing room.

He later added: "I'm going to have to act alone, because we don't have enough resources."

I love a person who can readily admit when they feel they were wrong. Good on you. Not sure why others can’t do the same. It really is NOT that hard.

I'm doing the same. We should all constantly remind the repubs that we will do everything in our power to see that they are defeated by their democrat opponent. Threaten them! This is what politicians fear most..losing your vote, your financial support. So threatem them...again and again and again. That's the ammo we have, so let's use it.

Why would the four republican Thomas Massi R-KY, Stephen Fincher R-TN,Walter Jones R-NC and Paul Broun R-GA vote “no” on this revised bill? Who are these people? What's their background?

I like your idea. It's going to be up to We the People and the militias to do this. We must seize every opportunity to make changes. We need to do more than just comment on a blog, we must answer the call to action. All of this is going to rev up..the mad, rabid dog in the White House is out of control and more dangerous than ever, so be prepared to throw yourself into this, put your shoulder to the effort and help out.

When we say that we “don't like” oboma, the devoted black & white, brown, etc obozo voters all insist that we are referring to his skin color. We have to watch our language...we need to say that we don't like obozo’s POLICIES , not “we dont like obozo.” That should shut up the left, give them no ammo to twist our meaning, if we use the right choice of words to express ourselves.

Says our dictator-in-chief.

Time to impeach him.

I think we are way beyond the impeach stage, which will never result in his removal. By 2016, how much of the US will be left? How many millions will be rushed across our borders and dispersed through the states? Only if the would be dictator were arrested/deposed will this stop.

.....the Repub bill summary was wonderful. As midterns loom.....(2) we have the House taking ACTION (the thing Boobamba/Dems feared most). (2) We have the Senate on vacation, and, (3) the “president” playing golf. We look great. I was wrong to oppose Repub action........

Nice sum-up.

It was scary when the Repubs said they were moving on this.....but the bill was pro-America 1000 percent.....and I love the way the Pubs called attention to it by delaying their fall break.

WHAT COULD BE BETTER? the stupid Boobamaba is going to veto it.

Yeah, because the narrative yesterday by Obama and the drive by media was, “the Republicans in the House are leaving Congress with unfinished business” meaning the Regime had the spring board he needed to “act alone”.

Polls show Americans lean Repub b/c of their strong
anti-immigrant stance---FAR ABOVE all other issues.

I laugh myself silly thinking about Dummycrats explaining to
the grassroots back home why they oppose a pro-America bill.

(excerpt)

In an article entitled “Growing Concerns Over ‘In the Air’ Transmission of Ebola,” the British Broadcasting Corporation reported the following in November of 2012 about airborne transmissibility of Ebola:

Canadian scientists have shown that the deadliest form of the ebola virus could be transmitted by air between species.

In experiments, they demonstrated that the virus was transmitted from pigs to monkeys without any direct contact between them.

The researchers say they believe that limited airborne transmission might be contributing to the spread of the disease in some parts of Africa.

...

One possibility is that the monkeys became infected by inhaling large aerosol droplets produced from the respiratory tracts of the pigs.

One of the scientists involved is Dr Gary Kobinger from the National Microbiology Laboratory at the Public Health Agency of Canada. He told BBC News this was the most likely route of the infection.

“What we suspect is happening is large droplets - they can stay in the air, but not long, they don’t go far,” he explained.

“But they can be absorbed in the airway and this is how the infection starts, and this is what we think, because we saw a lot of evidence in the lungs of the non-human primates that the virus got in that way.”

We don’t owe them a flight on a C130. All we owe them is a trip to the border that they crossed illegally and a boot in the ass across it. I’s Mexico’s problem for allowing them to come into their country.

They will say something like it is for the babies, like baby Jesus. Kind of what Pelosi said. All of a sudden democrats have found religion and are caring for babies. They want to get rid of Christmas in the public space, but for this they don't mind speak about baby Jesus in the people's House. What happened to separation of church and state?

Does Pelosi think about baby Jesus when she is advocating for all forms of abortion?

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...
