Experimental drug likely saved Ebola patients

Brantly received a transfusion of the blood of a 14-year-old Ebola survivor who he personally helped to treat. Giving blood transfusions from survivors to still suffering Ebola patients is an established, though not nearly proven, treatment for the largely untreatable disease. Has anyone else seen this reported anywhere other than this article?

The 14 year old boy is in numerous stories, and his donation is also mentioned with the experimental drug, the Dr. received both.

Israel is very good at developing, manufacturing and dispensing pharmaceuticals.

To use medications from outside US, Israel (or any country) has to partner with a US company so medication can go through FDA process.

If this med works, maybe some country can fast track it without all the paperwork needed up front.

Hope they can - it would be a Godsend.
