The comments about Roberts have reached hysterical proportions. Even one of the Wolf supporters conceded he is the 8th most Conservative member of the Senate. Calling him a RINO is absurd and distracts from real apostates and left-wingers in that body (such as Cochran, Lamar!, Graham, Murkowski, McConnell, Collins, Kirk, et al).

Let them spout for one more night. The Lupine Obama-kin already lost the primary (Ace of Spades already called it).

But we’ll get Roberts in 2020, when someone with the profile and record to win a Senate race, and proven conservative bona fides, runs for the Senate in Kansas. I’m referring, of course, to Dr. Hilton Fox, DDS. (Just kidding: I mean Kris Kobach.)

I agree, Roberts isn’t a train-wreck.

But Lamar is.

How exactly has the “8th most conservative member of the Senate” substantively engaged the Obama admin? The answer is he hasn’t. He’s a beltway careerist who doesn’t give a flip about Main Street. Regards, I’m sure you’ll be still cheering Team RINO members Hatch and Roberts when they supply McConnell with surrender caucus cloture votes.

“In other races where a longtime incumbent has been defeated by a tea party upstart, it’s because the incumbent favored amnesty, but that wasn’t the case here,” said Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, a staunch opponent of giving legal status to illegal immigrants. “Roberts has consistently voted against every amnesty bill while in Congress and that fact takes any potential wind out of Wolf’s sails. It’s the missing element.”

Murkowski, Bennett and Lugar all supported amnesty.

I think Cochran and Roberts are the only two who have voted against every amnesty bill ever. I don’t support Cochran for other reasons.

Cantor, Chris Cannon and other House Incumbents lost over immigration.
