President Obama gave a press conference this evening.
He started a little over an hour late without explanation. Reporters stuck to asking questions that they evidently knew Obama would be comfortable answering. None of them asked him about any of his administration scandals. ABC’s Jon Karl, usually a tough questioner of Obama and his spokesmen, asked a rambling question that played right into the Democrats’ “economic patriotism” canard.
Despite the fact that the president showed a passionless, bloodless, disinterested face to the world, he still managed to do some damage.
Chris Jansing of CNN asked Obama if the sanctions against Russia are working. She asked this in the context of Russia massing 20,000 heavily armed troops on the Ukraine border, and Russia claiming a “humanitarian” need to send those troops in.
Obama said both that he doesn’t know if the sanctions are working, and that they’re working as they are intended to do. He allowed that he might consider arming the Ukraine military, if Russia invades. But not before. That will keep Putin up late fretting.
When asked about the Israel-Hamas conflict, Obama said that Hamas using civilians as human shields is “extraordinarily irresponsible.”
Actually, it’s a war crime. It’s terrorism. Obama reduced deadly crimes against humanity for the sake of perpetrating genocide to equal something a badly raised teenager does on a drunken weekend. If we’re to take his comments on torture last week into account, Hamas are just “folks” who are “extraordinarily irresponsible,” not genocidal fanatics and war criminals.
By the way, Obama refused to rule out taking unilateral action to grant about five million illegal aliens legal status. He also refused to rule it in. And he had the gall to talk about good governance, transparency and accountability in government.
It was a poor performance made all the poorer by the media’s lack of any detectable backbone.
Actually, he doesn't leave office until January 21st, 2017. Add 74 days to that countdown.
During this very tardy news conference, he answered five questions, with long, rambling non-answers, but he did manage to blame the Republican House for not getting anything done.
He thinks we don’t know that Harry Reid has over 300 House bills sitting on his desk and won’t let them come up for a vote because the seven senators in tight races don’t want to have their automatic Obama-votes on record before the election. That;s really a profile in Democrat cowardice.
“Extraordinarily irresponsible” in 0bama language is not quite the same as how the rest of us would use it.
Hitler used his “race” to promote his agenda and so does Obama, the colors maybe different but the modi operandi is the same.
I really tried to listen to this news conference. After all, Fox cancelled The Five while waiting for him to show up,so I thought it might be important. After waiting nearly an hour, I turned on a re-run of Murder She Wrote that had been saved to my DVR.

This is the earliest he has been late!

This could have been an enormous opportunity to put Zero down once and for all, but Johnny boy is afraid of his own shadow.
I thought he gave good-sounding, well-prepared answers to questions he knew in advance. Did anyone notice that there was little looking out and choosing from raised hands? After he finished one self-serving long-winded answer, he announced immediately the name of the next reporter he'd take a question from. I think the list was prepared in advance and the questions known, so the answers were also prepared in advance.
“Like they say about 911 — Help is just minutes away (when you have just seconds to live). Will we last 824 days?”
There needs to be an impeachment, then a vote to remove from office. There also needs to be a collective “that racist crap is old” attitude from republicans and every journalist and editorialist with an ounce of integrity and dignity left. .
Obama should be connected to a lie detector at every press conference and the readout posted to the side. are we really supposed to believe he thinks, “I’m limited by the constitution”!
“O’s” incompetence and ignorance render him completely inert and paralyzed.
THAT’S how his handlers want him!!
It’s all going according to plan.
We often forget that the sacred texts of mankind began as practical documents. They were checklists. And we may well rediscover this fact before the end. One can imagine the last two postmoderns crawling towards each other in the ruins of a once great city to die, and while waiting to expire engage in conversation to pass the time.

If you want a mule, if you want a pot roast, if you want a cleaning lady, don't be a jerk and whine about what the people across the street have — go get your own. The Tenth Commandment sends a message to all the jerks who want redistribution of wealth, higher taxes, more government programs, more government regulation, more government, less free enterprise, and less freedom. And the message is clear and concise: Go to hell.

Hitler killed six million Jews pretty much directly. Obama is going to have Iran kill the six million Jews of Israel (or so he believes). Obama is leading from behind on this. I call Obama an affirmative action type Hitler because Hitler was not a complete bumbler. Hitler did have the audobahan created in his term of office while Obama funded the Solyndra boondoggle. Hitler could also give his long speeches almost by memory while Obama needs a teleprompter to go to the bathroom. So there are differences in intelligence and effectiveness there.
How many times has the Sultan been late while Valerie and her stooges are trying to de-choomer him?
Still, it could be that some of the late arrivals are due to Sultan Hussein expressing his contempt for his news cartel bootlickers.
