I don’t see how they aren’t forcing the Feds into paying around $25,000 for each kid. If you look at the fact that their parents aren’t paying state taxes, employment taxes, property taxes, etc....seems like to me that someone is just pretending they aren’t costing that much.

I think the education costs are woefully underestimated. Still, that is just part of the whole taco. The additional costs per person is tremendous and will be borne by the taxpayers mostly in the states unlucky enough to be the petri dishes in this experiment to ruin the country forever.

Schools are financed by property taxes. This is more of the plan to destroy the middle class.
Coming soon to a school district near you, overfilled classrooms and underfunded teachers. The public schools will be cranking out many more of the uneducated idiots to support the democRATS.

Some 30K Unaccompanied Minors to Attend Public US Schools This Year

Adding to the rich diversity of the Government education system, providing job security for unionized government employees. And Whitey pays the bill.

Do not allow illegal aliens into school. I don’t care what the Feds say or their stinking court. F.U. B.O. and the rest of you Federal scum.

Time for a taxpayer revolt. Bad enough my school taxes pay for a slew of kids brought into this world by lazy slackers who contribute nothing to their kids’ education. I’m not going to pay for a bunch of illegals too.

The other day, for the first time, some woman was going door to door asking for money to pay for school supplies for “kids” who can’t afford it.

I said no because I knew this was about all the illegals dumped in Indy.

I can be charitable, but this irked me.

Topping the school supply list should be Rid and hand sanitizer. Stapled to it should be a request form to move American kids to the next grade up due to all the teaching to the lowest common denominator that is soon to come.

As most of us here at FR already know....
The Constitution gives the federal government NO ROLE in education whatsoever. Because education is not an enumerated power delegated to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, it is clearly a power left to state and local governments, or to individuals, per the Tenth Amendment which states:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

This is why the U.S. government is so hell-bent on allowing this flood of invaders into the country. 30,000 new students in public schools will require a lot of new teachers, so the NEA loves it. They love it even more if these kids don't speak a word of English and need remedial and bi-lingual specialists to teach them.

All those "free" school lunches will be provided by a business that probably spends a lot of money supporting the Chamber of Commerce as they push to open our borders.

Ford, GM and Toyota can't wait for these kids to get a driver's license -- even if they can't read a road sign. Lots of cars to sell them!

The National Association of Realtors probably has their lobbyists drafting legislation right now that will allow family members of these kids to buy homes with subsidized mortgages -- even if the adults are all still in Central America and wouldn't recognize a U.S. dollar if they had pockets full of them.

Even the unions representing prison guards are big champions of these open borders. They see 30,000+ unaccompanied minors as strong prospects for new business.

One major flaw with a capitalist system devoid of any value system is that it encourages the whores to conduct their business in the cold light of day without any shame. Welcome to America 2014, folks.

Using $10K per pupil annually that would be a $300,000,000 bill for the taxpayer x12 = $3,600,000,000 to get each through HS Graduation. It is probably on the low side since many of these "Unaccompanied children" are probably in major urban areas where school costs are above average. This does not include all the ancillary costs these ILLEGAL ALIENS cost American taxpayers.

For the Teacher Unions that are in the Dem’s pocket . . . have to say I don’t have a lot of sympathy for them . . . I do for the classmates of these illegals though. The Teacher’s helped put Obama in office. Many of the teachers kids attend these same schools, wonder how they feel about that. Elections have consequences.

Congressmen, Obama, and government workers in DC need to pick up the bill for all these kids. The amount owned can be added up - then divided between all of them, and subtracted from their salaries.

I'm SICK and tired of Congress, Obama, and Holder being ‘oh so generous’ with OUR money. If they want to open the borders they can damn well pay for it.

The cost of educating these migrants in U.S. schools will likely not be cheap; Texas Education Agency General Counsel David Anderson pointed out that due to factors such as cultural differences and language barriers, it will likely be more expensive to educate the immigrant children than it is to educate students who are U.S. citizens.

Anderson reported said at a committee hearing, “Right now, the state pays about $7,900 per student to districts. These [foreign children] would come with certain needs, like free or reduced lunch qualification as well as bilingual or special needs, so we estimate about $9,500 per student to be paid to the districts for those students.”

The fact that most of these Third World Children do not speak a word of English and are completely un educated and illiterate in their native Spanish , much less English, may put a crimp in the educational process.

But don't worry, they are fully entitled to a complete and full education here in the US, regardless of how much teaching time and assets must be diverted to the task at the expense of the English speaking students who are American citizens

Of course, this eduction extends to everything except to actually requiring these new illegal immigrants to first learn the English language, or to even try learning it at all. That would be racist, ethnocentric and anti diversity, of course.

Get ready for tens of thousands of illiterate, non English speaking illegals from Central America being dumped into 9th grade classes around the country and demanding to be taught in their native Spanish dialect.

Of course, we have no way of knowing just how old or just who these undocumented illegals truly are.

But what difference does it make at this point if we are dumping thousands of non English speaking illegal alien gang members in their 20s to early 30s into our 9th grade classes.

They are here and we have to do something about it.

It's not like we can send them home or anything like that.

I may be ignorant of all the facts, but why do kids who are going to be deported (according to the administration) have to go to school?
