As one who does not believe in coincidences, this has all the markings of providing the leftists yet another opportunity of saying
Bush's fault.

Obama doesnt give a damn about genocide of Christians.
Hes pretending to respond due ONLY to the media attention.
A few 500 lb. bombs are like throwing stones at a pack of wolves.
The chances of him ordering serious action is VERY remote.

You are so right about that. This is the FIRST time he has even responded to the slaughter that is taken place since his beloved "Arab Spring".
I am convinced that the ONLY reason he is responding at this late time is that the group being massacred is a distinct, ancient, non-christian minority.

The Washington Post proves, once again, that killing people with Republican bombs is bad while killing people with Democrat bombs is good.

You may be right, but I think this could also turn out to be a ‘Let me show you how it's done, rookie’.
Sort of a slap in the face to the one who deserves it the most, if you catch my drift.
As I remember it, nobody was better on the international scene than GHWB and James Baker (excluding the Reagan years of course). What a team they were.

I am convinced that the ONLY reason he is responding at this late time is that the group being massacred is a distinct, ancient, non-christian minority. The reason for the Yazidis reputation of being devil worshipers is connected to the name of Melek Taus, [that some outsiders associate with [Shaytan]], the same name the Koran has for Satan and identified in Bible as the same. But there is little suggesting that the Yazidis worship Malak Ta'us as if he were equal to the Koran's or the Bible's devil. The Yazidis have never been regarded as Ahlu l-Kitab, people of the book, and they have suffered much hardship from their Muslim neighbours. [1]
IOW, He will support any muslim over any Christian, the most radical muslims over any moderate muslim and a Satan worshiper over the most radical of muslims.
Any questions?

Yes.
From observation, I can only conclude that the Lyin’ King DESPISES the “People of the Book”.
Uh..that would include me, and from what I have read of your postings, it includes you, too.
Time for the “People of the Book” to Come Together!

That WP article just about floored me! It lists all of the vessels and units over there, and when they got there.
What the h*ll ever happened to secrecy??!! It is nobody's business who or what is over there. Articles like this should be considered treasonous.

The locations of ships are actually public knowledge. With satellite imagery, kind of hard to hide from our equal enemies.
There is one website with paid membership which gives tons of info along with offering some free articles. Forget what it’s called though.
The movement of boots is still kept secret until they arrive.
To: al baby
I agree. I think naming the carriers after former Presidents is a bad idea. Living ones is even worse. The names of historic battles or historic ships forced some people to learn a little of our history and sacrifice. There can be plenty of buildings to name after Presidents and SecDef. Do we really want a Clinton or Obama? No..
