I think that Tom Cotton should use his own military background when feasible. Never should he use the non military background of Pryor as a point of reference. Negative campaigning works to some extent, but IMO it is much better to build up the creds of your own guy and Tom Cotton has plenty of material from his own background to draw on. Arkansas seems to favor name recognition for starters in a candidate but that is only a plus and not determinate as the candidate works for votes and becomes known by the public. I support Tom Cotton and contribute to his campaign because I like everything about him and believe that he will make an excellent senator for Arkansas and America. Good family background, no political inheritance of an office and free to bring a fresh uncluttered presence to the Republican party in DC.

I support him because in addition to appearing to have visceral conservative beliefs. Also because we have too many guys who have no clue of what military life is like (I’d include pansy Graham in that group) and it is shameful that so many of our ‘leaders’ were too good to serve in uniform.

Let’s hope Cotton makes it and that he will be better than Boozman too. But it is AR, and I wouldn’t get my hopes up too much.
