she abused a capital security guard who had asked to check her bag. My recollection is the security guard wanted ID and she assumed everyone in the country knew who she was and would bow to her. She was insulted that the guard asked for ID.

Cynthia McKinney represented two different districts. Her first district was redrawn. Essentially, she first represented Dekalb County and parts of Gwinnett County, any counties further to the west of Dekalb.
Her incident with a Capitol Hill police officer involved McKinney's refusal to go through a metal detector. She eventually struck/pushed the police officer in the chest.
In the election she lost, it was determined that the majority of her contributions did not come from Georgia . . . or even the United States. They came from Arab organizations identified as terrorist organizations. AFTER a Saudi Prince was linked to 9/11, she wrote him to solicit funds for black politicians. Given her crazy father's rants on J.E.W.S and her own legislative attempts to create a Palestinian state, that was the last straw.
She publicly stated that GWB and his friends profited from 9/11, and found racism in anything moving, written, or spoken.
