There are witnesses.
But only two people who really know what went on; the cop and the victim. Witness stories will be all over the board, and most don't paint a pretty picture of the officer's actions. So maybe he was provoked and had a justifiable reason for shooting the kid. Maybe he made a bad decision and an innocent young man is dead. We will never know for sure.
