I have been in hotels where the bedside table book was the teachings of Buddha, and in hotels where the book was the Quran, and I was not offended. Only the gospel is an offense, because the gospel goes on offense against the devil. I wonder, however, if there are any people who decide to learn about the Bible just to see what all the fuss is about; God works His will by any heavenly means necessary.

“We shouldn’t have to pay high prices to be proselytized in the privacy of our own hotel or motel room,” according to FFRF Co-President Dan Barker.

Dan -- can I call you Dan? If you don't open The Book, you won't be proselytized. Couldn't you just overlook it like the sample body lotion you don't use? Do you also lay awake at night and plot how to get rid of the decaffeinated coffee packs you never use in your hotel room? That one gets me, forcing decaff on people who don't want decaff.

This country wasn’t founded on the idea that all religions are equal or that they should be treated as such. Christianity was and should be favored and given preeminence. Obviously that position is now reserved for Atheists and soon to be all those hostile to the Christian belief system; they have no plans to relinquish their position shy of a bullet.

They just can’t let the Bibles lay quietly in the drawer and ignore them. They must be really afraid of what they might find and learn if they actually opened one and read it.

"A Bible in a hotel room is no more illegal than a chaplain in the military”

Thanks.

The Secretary of the Navy, Mabus, is a pure unadulterated politically correct coward and ball-less ahole.

I’ve never seen a SecNav so useless and cowardly in my life, and I’ve known some of the greatest ones. One of Obama’s greatest appointments. /sarc/shit

They believe in nothing. The Navy is supporting their beliefs
by providing nothing. That constitutes government supported religion. They already have their beliefs supported by an empty drawer.

I don’t know which is more obnoxious and hateful. Atheists or “openly gay” homosexuals.

This organization is more angry old atheist Jews than anything else with a few token shabbaz goyim

They are despicable

Besides lying about the US Constitution and the Establishment Clause they also detest with a vengeance Christianity

But...hold on....they also were low enough to oppose a Star of David on a Holocaust museum...that is pretty damned low I think everyone can agree on

Naturally they lack the balls to take on the Religion of Peace

low life filth..... these militant atheists are giving each other backslaps and laughing at their “cleverness”. They are so obsessed with what religious people do while religious people could care less about what atheists do. They may hope they gain some faith and talk to them but there is no impinging on their lifestyle..

Gays and atheists are two very nasty revenge oriented populations. The militant ones at least. They want some kind of payback when the reality is they are sick and deranged
