Tiffany Mitchell On Witnessing Michael Brown Shooting: Police 'Showed No Kind Of Remorse'
The Huffington Post ^ | August 14, 2014 | Paige Lavender

Posted on 08/14/2014 4:59:53 AM PDT by Uncle Chip

Tiffany Mitchell, a woman who says she witnessed a police officer shoot and kill Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, shared her story during an appearance on CNN with her attorney Wednesday night.

Mitchell said she was driving when she saw Brown trying to pull away from an officer as the two were "tussling through a window."

She said she had hoped to get a video because the incident "just didn't look right," but failed to get her camera out in time.

"I didn't know exactly what was going on, but I knew it didn't look right for someone to be wrestling with the police through the police window, but I didn't get a video because a shot was fired through the window, so I tried to get out of the way," Mitchell said.

Mitchell then described what she saw happen between Brown and the police officer.

"As I pull onto the side, the kid, he finally gets away, he starts running. As he runs the police get out of his vehicle and he follows behind him, shooting," Mitchell said.

"And the kid's body jerked as if he was hit from behind, and he turns around and puts his hands up like this, and the cop continued to fire until he just dropped down to the ground and his face just smacks the concrete."

Mitchell clarified she heard a shot after she saw Brown trying to pull away from the cop, and said even after Brown turned to face the cop and put his hands in the air, "the cop continued to come up on him and shoot him until he fell down to the ground."

She said she counted "more than about five or six shots."

However what was shown all seemed to involve one robbery on 11/2/13. Plus sealed juvie.

One robbery? OK,well that's one more robbery than *I've* been involved in in my 60+ years on this earth. And as for sealed juvenile...that makes no difference. If he was,in fact, guilty (and I assume that no verdict had been reached in this matter) that clearly suggests that he wasn't adverse to engaging in violent criminal behavior.

Lemme get this straight. The officer and Brown were ‘tussling’ through the cop car window.
The officer tried to detain Brown without getting out of his car? Through the car side window?? come on.
Brown had to have reached through the window, attacking the officer.

> These shootings are like Woodstock. Everyone you talk to was there and witnessed the event.

You interview 10 witnesses and get 10 different versions of the same event. I’ve interviewed thousands (over a thousand on one large case alone that dragged on for 2 1/2 years) and its true about what they say about witnesses. You have to interview many until you start seeing what is mst likely the truth or not.

It was his neighborhood and he was 2 minutes from home in the middle of the day.

So what. He started a physical altercation with a cop which ended badly for him. The rest of the vermin protesting in the streets will also be the root of their own demise.

You can have multiple offenses as a juvenile, and so long as you obey what the court tells you to do they will be “expunged” when you turn 18. Could be the case here.

I heard on the radio driving home last night that the officer had injuries to his face.

It will be interesting to see what all the actual evidence is. They also said Michael was running away and was shot in the back (not sure if their info was from this same “witness” or not, but IIRC they mentioned it was Michael’s friend who had ducked behind a car).

An initial story I heard was that the officer asked Michael and his friend, who were walking down the middle of the street, to move to the sidewalk, they kept walking, he asked again, then when he stopped the car and opened the door, Michael essentially jumped him inside the car, tried to grab his gun and a shot went off.
So, my initial thought was that it was an accidental shooting. It will be more difficult to explain if Michael was shot in the back, but we don’t know what was said or what transpired inside the car.

These shootings are like Woodstock. Everyone you talk to was there and witnessed the event.

The joke here in Pittsburgh is that at least 600,000 people were at Forbes Field on the autumn day when Bill Mazeroski hit that home run.

Here is a possible scenario I have been able to glean: the police man drove by MB and his companion walking on the street, snarled at them: Get on the effing sidewalk. Kids kept walking. Policeman backs up his truck and reaches out the window, grabs MK. MK gets away, walks away, police man gets out and shoots him 35 feet away.

That’s often the case on black youths / teens when the MSM or police says they have no record. It just means they don’t have any offenses on their record yet as an adult when they may have a long rap sheet as a juvi. Usually doen’t take long at all for the charges to start piling up once they hit 18 if they’re thugs.

True, except I’m 47 years old, I have no record to date, I am not out fighting against officers or running from officers. It could still happen, and if it does... I guess I’ll have to accept my lumps. Right?
