IMHO, the police “clashes” were because of violent protestors and looting, not because a “name” wasn’t released yet.
I think it is a “has to be done” thing under FOIA
I wonder if the criminals hadn’t moved in to take the opportunity to riot and loot, the name wouldn’t have come out sooner? I don’t know.
Yeah, its also important to note that while the morons have been attacking the local police for not naming a target, the feds have known the name all along.
I do think its interesting that Crump wants a second autopsy. Sounds like there may be something there that calls witness testimony into question.

Has there been any explanation yet as to why the officer shot the teen? There must be more to the story than meets the eye.

Nothing but the “tussle” inside for the gun. The outside the car and the number of casings (if that amount is correct?), has not been explained except by the witness/friend whom was hiding behind a car. The second witness has them tussling in/through the window.
I hope for his sake this delay in releasing it has been to allow his family time to find a safe place to hide and for him to get into some sort of protective custody. Both are going to need it.
If not following the law excuses looting, rioting and arson, Barack hasn’t been following the law his entire Presidency. I sure as heck would not go out and commit crimes and blame it on Barry.
