That said - I’m laughing at the people who are insisting that the cops ‘Photoshopped’ Brown on the surveillance video of his strong arm robbery of the QT.
This whole situation makes what Benjamin Franklin said prophetic:
“When a people become corrupt and vicious - they have more need of masters”.
Sadly - that means we all get subjugated if we empower the state to become our master.
Just to clarify, it wasn't JUST because he was in the middle of the street.
It was his refusal to get out of the street (along with some colorful language) that led to the officer backing up, which led to Mike slamming the door shut as the officer tried to get out, which led to the officer allegedly yelling, "I'm gonna kill you"(according to the witness, anyway), which led to Mike punching the officer in the face, which led to the struggle for the gun.

I am sure the LE officials know, but based on dozens of threads, and dozens of articles, which are all different, no one (the public and the media) had an accurate count yet.
For instance, how many gunshot wounds did Mike sustain ? Should be a very simple answer. The 'count' started at eight. It is now getting closer to 1.
I would agree with you, EXCEPT, that wouldn't explain why Big Mike and friends thought it a good idea to block a police car coming down the street.

We only at this point have this from the police chief in which he was compelled to walk back what he said in an earlier press conference:

The storeowner was at risk way before the Chief gave this press release.
Remember, the QT was the primary target of the riots(planned, along with coordinated with out of community gang members) which started just as night fell on the first day of the 'protest'.
The 'bruthas' had vowed to evoke revenge upon the QT and it's owner and employees because they called the cops on Big Mike.
The protests were just a pretext for the attack on QT, and the rest of the rioting was cover.

Let's see, with that many buds standing around armed - I doubt any of Obama's Free Shit Army of ghetto thugs would be stupid enough to come up and punch me in the face.
But if they did - there's everything from fisticuffs to butt stocks to subdue the perp for a citizen's arrest.
We have no authority or justification to shoot an unarmed thug unless one of us feared for our life. And with five big buds standing there, it would be unlikely a single thug would be seen by a jury to sufficiently threaten our lives with his bare hands with the rest of my posse armed.

If the police car came up behind them, they wouldn't know they were blocking a police car until the cop yelled at them to get out of the street.
