In the movie "The Purge" and it's sequel everyone in the nation is allowed to commit any crime for 12 hours with no ramifications.

The horror movie has been hit at the box office but recently a flier about a purge that's coming to the Louisville area Friday evening has become a real nightmare.

People on WKYT's Facebook page are asking if it's a hoax or something they should legitimately be concerned about while in Louisville.

The easiest and best response is to find out who are unarmed but deserve protection, such as elderly and infirm, and households with several guns and competent users. Then have one of the armed people visit with the deserving unarmed that day.

When the zombies attack, figuring on raping and robbing an elderly woman, surprise!

I should mention that zombie movies do make a good allegory to violent mobs of looters. Such rioters should even be called zombies.
