a truck driver who customarily made the 370-mile (600-kilometer) trip from the forest region to the capital several times a month, has stayed put for three months because no one wants food from the southeast anymore, even though transmission through food is very unlikely.

Don't worry, it's very unlikely you'll die from food handled by an infected person but you COULD.

That’s one reason to grow your own food. We started doing that so that we would have good food without pesticides, but it fits right in with prepping for emergencies too.

We have garden plans that will provide a completely sound nutritional diet, and have learned to grow them and use various methods to preserve them.

We have the space to increase our garden’s size should we ever need to rely soly on what we can grow.
